Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how PactPro, Inc. (PactPro, we, us) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website or use our product (the Service).

If you use PactPro through a team workspace (for example, via your employer), your organization may control certain settings and access to your account. In that case, please direct workplace-related privacy requests to your organization as well.

Information we collect

We collect information in a few ways:

Information you provide

• Account information: your email address (and any optional profile/workspace details you choose to provide).
• Customer content: contracts and related documents you upload, extracted text, and the analysis outputs generated for you (reports, findings, etc.).
• Payment and billing: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full credit card number, but we may receive billing metadata (for example, customer IDs, subscription status, invoices, and payment confirmation).
• Lead and marketing information: if you request a free report (for example, a Contract Risk Analysis) we may collect your email, attribution details (like UTMs/referrer), and whether you opted into follow-up emails.
• Communications: information you include when you contact support or respond to emails.

Information we collect automatically

• Usage data: pages viewed and actions taken in the Service (for example, starting an upload, viewing a report, or clicking an unlock button).
• Device and connection data: browser type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, and log data used for security and debugging.
• Security signals: we may store hashed versions of IP addresses and other signals to protect the Service, prevent abuse, and reduce fraud.
• Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies to keep you signed in and to help the Service function. We may also use analytics/measurement tools. See our Cookie Policy.
• Marketing attribution: UTM parameters and referrer information that help us understand where traffic and signups come from.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (including authentication and report delivery).
• Process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud.
• Run analysis workflows and generate your contract review outputs.
• Communicate with you about your account, the Service, and support requests.
• Send follow-up emails when you opt in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• Improve product quality (debugging, performance, and feature decisions).
• Protect the Service (abuse prevention, security monitoring, and compliance).

AI processing (uploaded documents)

PactPro is an AI-assisted product. When you upload a contract, we extract text and may send that text to our AI provider (currently OpenAI) to generate the plain-English report. We use your content to provide the Service, not to sell your data.

If you do not want document text processed by an external AI provider, do not upload documents to the Service.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including with trusted service providers (subprocessors). Examples include:

• Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage)
• Vercel (hosting, performance monitoring, and delivery)
• OpenAI (AI text processing to generate reports)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• Resend (email delivery for transactional and product emails)
• Inngest (background job orchestration)
• Meta / Google (optional remarketing on certain pages when enabled - see Cookie Policy)

We may also share information (a) with your workspace admins and teammates as part of collaboration, (b) to comply with law or respond to legal requests, or (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Data retention

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, and protect the Service. In particular:

• Preview analyses: our systems are designed to automatically delete documents and associated preview analysis data after approximately 24 hours.
• Paid analyses: our systems are designed to automatically delete documents and associated analysis data after approximately 7 days.
• Account/workspace information: retained while your account is active (and as needed for legitimate business purposes, such as security and billing records).
• Lead and marketing information: retained as needed to deliver requested reports, measure performance, and communicate with you. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.

Note: some information may persist in backups for a limited period or be retained longer where required by law (for example, billing records).

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can also opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails.

Even if you opt out of marketing emails, you may still receive transactional messages related to your account or requested services.

To request access or deletion, contact us at support@pactpro.ai. If your request relates to a team workspace, your organization may need to handle the request.

International data transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date above, and may provide additional notice for material changes.
