Organization Settings

Organization settings let you configure how PactPro works for your team. Available on Team and Growth plans.


Where to Find Settings

Go to DashboardSettings (or your profile menu) → Organization. You must be an admin or owner to change these settings.


Posture & Clause Preferences

Posture is your organization's standard position on common contract terms. When you define your preferences, PactPro uses them during analysis to:

  • Flag clauses that differ from your standard position
  • Adjust risk scoring based on how much a clause deviates
  • Provide more relevant guidance

Setting Up Clause Preferences

  1. Go to SettingsPostureClauses tab.
  2. Click Add Position for each clause category you want to define.
  3. Choose a category (e.g., Indemnity, Liability, Payment Terms).
  4. Enter your standard position in plain language.
  5. Optionally add notes with negotiation guidance.
  6. Save—changes auto-save after a few seconds.

Example

Indemnity: "We prefer mutual indemnity with carve-outs for IP infringement and data breaches. We avoid broad unilateral indemnity clauses."

Liability: "We cap liability at contract value and exclude indirect damages. We prefer carve-outs for gross negligence and willful misconduct."


Member Permissions

  • Members can invite – Whether members can invite new users to the organization.
  • Members can view all docs – Whether members can see all organization documents or only their own.
  • Admins can edit posture – Whether admins can change clause preferences and posture settings.

Seats and Plans

Your plan determines how many seats (users) you have. Growth plans can add more seats. See Billing & Plans for details.
